Scottish Ski Bus
"Making Scottish skiing more accessible and sociable."
For my business project I am creating a proposal for a Scottish Ski Bus. The service will let people know, by text when conditions are good, pick them up from major Scottish cities, take them directly to the slopes along with a group of people who share their passion for snow sports and at the end of the day, take them home via a local pub, bringing Apres ski to Scotland!
This is a mock newspaper article, predicting the companies success and positive impact to the Scottish ski industry in 5 years time.
Initially, the service will consist of one bus, running from Edinburgh to the slopes at weekends throughout the winter. A text on a Friday night informs customers of good snow conditions and by simply replying to the text they can book their place on the bus in the morning. The idea is simple; take away all the hassle of organizing your own trip, as well as the expense of driving and replace it with an easy bus service where passengers can relax, meet like minded people and share their passion for snow sports.
The Scottish skiing experience has always lacked that Après Ski atmosphere of European skiing, but the Ski Lift will changed this, taking its customers to local bars in Aviemore on the way home, making the whole experience fun and sociable, as well as helping local business.
(This is not a real Scotsman article, I have edited the front page, purely for educational purposes)
